It's been a busy week at Castle Diecast. I just wrapped up a big pickup of mostly Elite Lionel 1:24 scale NASCAR diecast, and I couldn't wait to share it with you.
Picked Up Right Here Locally
I love when a collection comes from close to home. This one was a local pickup, which meant I could see everything in person, go through the boxes, and bring it all back without a single shipping headache. Local deals like this are a big part of how Castle Diecast has built its inventory over the years, and this is one of the best stacks I've seen come through in a while.
What's in the Collection
The bulk of the haul is Lionel Racing's Elite line in 1:24 scale, the premium tier of NASCAR diecast. These are the pieces collectors look for: detailed paint schemes, opening hoods and trunks, and the kind of finish that holds up on a display shelf. Looking at the stack, there are Elite and Color Chrome releases, plenty of recent-era cars from the 2012 through 2020 seasons, and a few older Action and Revell pieces mixed in for good measure. Fan-favorite drivers are well represented, including Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt, along with a nice Mike Skinner Lowe's car.
I'm still going through everything piece by piece, but I can already say there are some great cars in here.
How I'll Be Rolling It Out
With a collection this size, I'm not going to dump it all at once. I'll be slowly releasing it, a few cars at a time, here on the Castle Diecast store and on eBay. That way each car gets its own proper listing with clear photos and an honest description, and you get a steady stream of fresh pieces instead of a wall of listings.
Stay Tuned
- Check the store regularly for new arrivals as they're added
- Follow our eBay listings for more of the collection
- Looking for a particular driver or season? Reach out and I'll keep an eye out for it as I work through the boxes
Always Looking for New Collections
Pickups like this are what keep the shelves full, and I'm always looking for the next one. If you have a diecast collection you're thinking about selling, I'd love to hear about it. Fill out my seller intake form and tell me what you have, and I'll get back to you.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy collecting!
