1. John Deere Precision Classics: The Model 720 Diesel Tractor
One of the standout pieces from this collection is the Precision Classics (Series 10) John Deere Model 720 Diesel Tractor.
The Precision Classics line is renowned across the diecast community for its mind-blowing attention to detail. This piece includes fully assembled authentic diecast metal parts, realistic moving components, and an enclosed flywheel. It even still has the collector’s coin included in the box! Next to the famous John Deere green is the classic International Harvester red. We picked up a gorgeous Precision Series Farmall 400.
Like the JD 720, this model is highly detailed and authentic. As a commemorative Farmall 400 piece, it comes with a historical booklet and a collector’s medallion. What makes these Precision models so desirable is the fine wiring, detailed engine blocks, and accurate steering linkages that typical mainstream models lack.
3. SpecCast Classic Series: International Harvester Farmall 504 Gas Tractor
Rounding out the group is a beautiful piece from SpecCast—the International Harvester Farmall 504 Gas Tractor.
This “Classic Series” model features the distinct clam-shell fenders that International Harvester fans love. SpecCast is a fantastic brand, particularly for those looking to expand out of the standard ERTL lineup, as they offer unique models and variations (like the clam-shell fenders on this 504). This piece came perfectly preserved in its original clam-shell styrofoam and window-box packaging.
